Dance Season begins again this September
Westview Dance Club begins its 2015-2016 Season with its Registration and Welcome back Dance on Tuesday, September 1, at Oak Bluff Recreation Centre.
Do you want to learn to social ballroom dance? Are you a fan of Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance and say I wish I could dance like that? Would you like to be able to travel around a crowded dance floor with style and confidence?
If you answered yes to any or all of the above questions, then we have the answer for you. Westview Dance Club is a not-for-profit organization that promotes social ballroom dancing for couples. Beginning in September and running until May, Westview Dance Club features 30 lessons with a certified dance instructor plus 30 practices to tune up your skills, all for only $275 per couple. Classes range from beginners to advanced and feature Waltz, Fox Trot, Cha Cha, Tango, Rhumba and Swing. Workshops featuring other dances may also be available based on interest levels.
Westview Dance Club also features four social dances and three dinner dances, including a New Year’s Eve dinner dance, throughout the dance season. So if you want to learn to ballroom dance, renew or hone your dance skills, or just have fun meeting others while getting some healthy activity, Westview Dance Club is for you. We can’t guarantee that you will come away dancing like the pros, but you will have fun learning to ballroom dance in a fun, friendly and non-competitive environment.
Westview Dance Club’s 2015 Registration and Welcome Back Dance will be held at Oak Bluff Recreation Centre on Tuesday, September 1st, starting at 7:00 p.m. This dance is free and open to all Westview members and those interested in learning how to dance or finding out more about Westview Dance Club.
