The Rotary Club of Winnipeg-Charleswood will be holding its annual Lobster Night on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at the Eric Coy Arena, 535 Oakdale Drive in Charleswood.

This annual lobster dinner is the Charleswood Rotary club’s major fundraiser with proceeds going towards several local and International projects such as:
 Custodian of Assiniboine Forest since 1991
 Literacy programs at Westgrove School and in the surrounding community
 Rotary Career Symposium
 Bursaries for graduating students in three Charleswood area high schools
 IRCOM (Immigrant & Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba) literacy program
 Urban Stable (Formerly the Horse Connection)
International projects:
 Shelterbox – an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to people affected by disasters worldwide.
 Polio Plus – Rotary’s drive since 1985 to eradicate Polio from the face of the earth
 Sponsoring students to Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp, Model United Nations and to U of W’s Global College course “Emerging issues in Human Rights”.
